Sphagnum is the most abundant genus within the moss family, scientifically called “Sphagnum Magallanicus”. It reproduces in ñadis and wetlands mainly located in the southern regions of Chile, which thanks to rainfall and evapotranspiration acquire their growth and shape. Its properties benefit the production of different plants and flowers, especially orchids.
